Colorful Resort

Colorful village is one of the 5 defined core zones identified in the tourism master plan of Cengong County, Guizhou province, China.

There are a river runs across the village, a new planned bridge and vehicular by-pass drive is under construction. POD design included the elevated by-pass in the overall master plan, and utilize it for flood control. A five-star hotel and two 3-star hotels are designed in the resort, a specialty retail street connects all three hotels. A performing plaza was designed in front of the tourist center.

All developments are on elevated parking deck and parking spaces are arranged underground. A natural water park is designed in a valley nearby the village, and connects to the main river, which is an ideal place for water rafting and other water related entertainment activities.
