BDR design group created an exciting new children’s water attraction for Sol Katmandu, which opened in the summer of 2014.

Nestled within a series of building facades, this water park carefully and cleverly utilizes each façade as a canvas and opportunity to create a richly themed, and highly immersive underwater environment. With skillful use of its surroundings, what was once a bare alleyway is transformed into a mystical gateway where the guest is transported to an underwater wonderland full of ancient Katlantean architecture, steampunk machinery powered by an ancient jewel, and inhabited by an array of quirky sea creatures both mythical and familiar
