Metropark Worblaufen

Mixed-use of 150 units with area 16,500 sqm, the planning area of the development WorblaufenIttigen is located at the gates of the city of Bern.

The Metro-Park development is characterized by a clearly designed urban development that enhances the infrastructural hub of the Worblaufen station (regional traffic Bern-Solothurn, RBS) and forms an attractive center with apartments, commercial and office space.

The three cubic new buildings on one side of the railway line and on the other side an existing highrise building, which is being raised and expanded, form the urban framework of the station. Carefully designed outdoor areas link the different structures with generous access zones and create places with a high quality of stay, from public spaces to semi-private and private green areas for residents.
