Sochi Park Adventure Land

Sochi Adventure Park is a theme park designed for the 2014 Winter Olympics in Russia. The site is 20.5 hectares and themed around the history and culture of Russia.

It features an adventure park and a hotel complex. instead of the typical “hub-and-spoke” layout. The Park is organized by a sequential design. After the main street near the entry, the major route connects one themed zone after another.

POD Design worked with the entertainment consultant JRA, to provide a complete landscape and hardscape design for the outdoor environment, specific attention was paid to screening walls and gates as well as protective fences, as the landscaping buffer spaces were very limited due to the size of the site.
